AES serves Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 students from the United States and other nations. We provide an exceptional American education with an international perspective.

Mission Statement

The American Embassy School provides a balanced education defined by a joyful pursuit of excellence in academics, athletics, arts and service. We enable each student to be an inspired lifelong learner and a responsible, compassionate global citizen.


Normally, the minimum qualifications required for faculty are:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably from a U.S. College/University, and
  • Certification in teaching, preferably from the U.S., and
  • Three (3) years successful teaching experience, preferably in an American or international PK-12 school

Teaching Assistants

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Teaching Diploma/Certificate (B.Ed.)
  • Experience in an American/International school

Non-Teaching Staff

  • Requirements are dependent on the position
  • Qualification and experience requirements are given in the job description
